I highly recommend joining the Advocate Program. Far too often, I get bogged down in my day to day activities and forget to prioritize myself in the process. I’ve been an advocate for probably 4 years now. The monthly emails are helpful reminders that I’m not alone in working toward more compassionate responses to others (and ourselves) in this world. I first learned about CompassionIt! from Sara when our children were in swimming lessons together. Since then, I have followed the movement and loved everything Compassion It! represents. A few years ago we invited Sara to present to our staff and a group of independent contractors in The Bay Area. The message was very well received. We asked Sara if there was a “company level” Advocate option. She was quick to offer one to us. Now we bring Compassion It! to every staff meeting where we review the last month’s lesson and discuss the parts that resonated with us. Being an Advocate and sharing the Compassion It! benefits our entire team!
