Practice Generosity On #GivingTuesday

Please help us share compassion around the world.

DONATE to COMPASSION IT on #GivingTuesday – Dec. 1, 2015.

What is Giving Tuesday?

You’re familiar with Black Friday, right? Retailers offer huge discounts to jump-start holiday spending. Typically we see news reports of people trampling each other at various big box stores as they rush for their favorite electronics.

In recent years, Cyber Monday was added to the mix. Our favorite websites offer free shipping and other deals.

Thankfully, there’s now Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to giving back.

This year, we’re asking YOU, our COMPASSION IT friends, to consider offering a donation to help us expand our reach. As a boot-strapping non-profit, we could use the financial help! We’ve got big plans for 2016 to scale our work and make compassion more accessible around the world. But we can’t do it without your support.

Here’s what you can do:

1 – Donate (any amount will do)

*Psst – If you want to make it a recurring monthly donation, that would be a-okay with us!

2 – Tweet, post, smoke signal

Let others know that you gave! Use the hashtags  #GivingTuesday #CompassionIt

3 – Purchase COMPASSION IT wristbands.

Use the code #GivingTuesday at checkout for FREE SHIPPING on that day!

Delight your family and friends this holiday season. Heck, our wristbands would be a unique and meaningful gift for corporations to offer clients and employees!

What will your donation do?

1 – Allow us to teach compassion in more schools.

We’ve got plans to scale our reach to children by bringing compassion education to teachers.

2 – Help us reach underserved populations.

We will partner with organizations that already work with underserved populations in order to bring compassion and mindfulness to people who may not be exposed to it.

3 – Empower us to curb violence.

We believe that compassion is the antidote to violence, so we ‘re working on a summertime compassion campaign to decrease violence in Chicago. Once we see results, we hope to bring this effort to other cities around the world.

4 – Give us the opportunity to do a lot more world-changing stuff.

Just trust us on this one.

Thank you for your consideration. We appreciate YOU very much!
